| Ch Morkerbook Blazen Dare (Kari)is a beautiful chocolate kelpie with a sensational personality and a love of all dogs and people. She has attained her championship (multiple) and has started obedience training. At the same time she will continue to be shown lightly. She is very happy strutting her stuff in the show ring and has also become a very gentle and attentive pet. Kari's daily routine usually includes a walk, free play in the park and often a swim in the sea. In May 2007 she won best in show at the Australian Kelpie Club of Victoria Open Show as well as best headed and best gaited. She also won best gaited at the Queensland Cattle Dog & Kelpie Show in June. During 2008 Kari has had many 'Best of Breed' and 'Challenge Bitch' wins and now has 500 championship points. Kari was mated to Ch Linbarlee Hondo HIT in August 2008 and 5 beautiful puppies arrived on 19th October. Kari will spend the rest of 2008 enjoying being a mum and will return to the showring in January 2009. Kari has recommenced her show career and is currently doing very well with many Best of Breeds this year. On 10th May 2009 she won Best Headed and Best Gaited at the Australian Kelpie Club of Victoria Show. Kari won both Aust Bred and Reserve Challenge Bitch at Royal Adelaide show in September 2009. 2009 ended with Kari in 3rd place nationally in the Breed Score Competition and over 900 Championship points. March 2010. Kari has advanced two levels in Obedience so far this year and will commence Obedience Trialling soon. May 2010. Once again Kari won Best Gaited at the Australian Kelpie Club of Victoria Show as well as the Champion Sweepstakes and 2nd place in Best Headed. July 2010. Kari gained her first qualifying score towards CCD on her first day of Obedience Trialling. Kari will be having some well earned time out of the show and obedience rings to have puppies in late 2010. |
